I have small 5-port USB power supplies by the bedside and at my workbench, so these little clamp-on lights work well for me. The on/off switch is on the cord, very easy to use, about 10 inches down the wire from the clamp base.They have a high/low function built into the rocker switch as well, which makes them ideal for the bedside. LOW uses 1/2 the LEDs (and high uses all of the LEDs). The unit seems well-constructed and the gooseneck feels solid and will stay in position once you set it to where you want it to be. I don't know if the style is 'elegant' but it looks nice enough for me to use it where I need it: I tend to value function over form.

Well made unit that provides light exactly where you want it and is switchable for two different light levels and two colour temperatures. The goose neck is well made and twists into whatever shape for positioning and very importantly then stays there! The table clamp is well cushioned to prevent marking but sufficiently strong to maintain a good grip. Very good value for money - would recommend.
