For this money, currently the best flashlight that is easy to put in your pocket. But when you need it, make a day out of the dark. This is already my second EC01, but this one has an SST40 LED. In my experience regarding general use and lamp size, the XHP50.2 LED fits it much better, due to the wider beam and higher brightness. If you need a lamp for a longer range it is better to take Astrolux FT03 classic or mini.

Ordered the 6000-6500k tint and the 5000k tint. The CW version isn't too cool (at least for the sample I got), estimate may be 5700k color temperature. But sort of a disappointment is that the 5000k tint looks exactly the same as the CW tint (maybe 5700k too). No difference at all in color temperature for the "6000-6500k" vs the "5000k" tint.

Fajna latarka, daje bardzo dużo światła, porównywalne z convoyem L6, posiada moje ulubione UI, mianowicie anduril ui w którym można wszystko ustawić po swojemu, ładuje się po usb typu C, posiada wskaźnik naładowania baterii który działa także jako lokalizator w ciemności. Fajne jest to, że można stosować bardziej wydajne ogniwa 21700, jak i w sytuacjach awaryjnych 18650. Polecam.

I prefer throwers but wanted to add a good small flood leaning flashlight. This is great, lots of light pouring out especially on turbo and giving a good flood for this size! Has some throw with it too! It does have a green tint but I don't mind that and it disappears at hi output. My second Astrolux and the fit and finish is very nice. Some pics attached...night pics in light rain. This for me is a great edc that leans about 60/40 on the flood side. Turbo will get hot. Very satisfied.

Прислали за пол месяца, в идеальном внешнем и рабочем состоянии. В комплекте: шнурок, резин.кольца и адаптер на 18-ые аккумы. Фонарь поражает своим размером и мощностью! В руке почти не ощущается, а светит на свежих высокотоковых 21-ых банках, в пике не менее чем на 4000 люмен! В турбо быстро греется и также быстро плавно снижает яркость ~ в 2 раза. Но благодаря "Andúril" степдаун можно настроить, выставив t° хоть в 100° и тогда сбрасывать будет позже ~ через 1-2 мин., но с перегревом! Кстати на 18-ых банках, даже высокотоковых, фонарь светит максимум ~ на 2500 люмен, наверно из-за недостаточной ёмкости таковых. При просаживании батареи, снижается и макс. яркость (турбо), значит нет стабилизации. Несмотря на мятый рефлектор, светит выраженным хот-спотом, с неплохой боковой засветкой ~ на 150-200 метров. Температура света около 5.5 К, хотя заказывал на 6-6.5 К! Отражатель и линза чистые, без пыли внутри, но само стекло без антиблика и резистивности к пыли. Фонарь и продавец отличные - рекомендую к покупке!

Beam shots set at 200 ISO and WB at 5000k There's a noticeable greenish tint shift at lower levels from the centre spot (not quite as noticeable as in my picture but still obvious, also not an issue when used outside). Interesting little light, probably a good dog walking light and, as expected, it gets hot on Turbo quite quickly. My FW3A is still gonna be my edc pocket carry but I'll be giving the EC01 plenty of use walking the dog in the local woods. 🌲🌲🐺🚶‍♂️🌲🌲🔦☀️🌲🌲🌲🔥🧯🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🔦🔦🔦😁
