I bought this to replace my current setup which is a Boscam receiver with Eachine pro DVR. This unit has an integrated DVR and of course diversity, so I wanted to give it a go. I had some setup issues after using an SD card from a previous camera... I had to format the card but hit an issues when I had set 'auto record' from the menu BEFORE formatting the card using the built in format function. If you do this then it will crash and lock up everytime you start it. To get around this issue, boot it without a card, then insert the card and format it internally. I haven't run any proper diversity checks so can't yet say how good that is. but I certainly have't had any drop out issues. The channel selection is a pain and slow, long press between bands and short press for channels. Would like it to have come with a cloverleaf instead of the linear antenna, but easy to swap

This is a good unit, for video quality it measures up well against a more expensive also diversity Lumenier, but also has a built in DVR. I'm running mine with two Kloverleaf RHCP. The instructions are not the clearest in the world but not the worst either. The ability to take the DVR output (filtered) to screen or the raw video direct is good. What is not so good is yet again a manufacturer scrambles the video bands AND this time uses band numbers instead of letters, though this is probably just as well as it at least forces you to rethink!. I now have FPV video eqpt that thinks 5745 is A7, B2 and now also 3(C) 2, far less than ideal. Taking this unit alone though, its effective and I'm pleased to have it.

Receiver has very clear signal with the included antenna. The channel select is a single button - short press for channel, long press for band. I've had some issues when powering on the receiver doesn't send a signal to my screen. This was solved by unplugging and plugging the power in again. I run it off a 2 cell lipo.

Seems to be just as sensitive as the Quanum VRX it's (Currently) replaced. My plan is to use it with a 12v 15" screen I've got and build a "Suitcase" FPV ground station. The last VRX would allow the screen to blue out, Apparently on this thing's DVR output that won't happen.

This unit makes a great ground station for my Hiee goggles that have terrible diversity performance. It has a large input voltage range, built in DVR to locate a lost model and/or record your antics. Super easy to use. I didn't even need to read the manual to navigate channel selection and wiring it up. Only ask is for Aomway to include one of their cloverleaf antennas.
