Been a week now that it has been in use & works as it should, on at dusk off at dawn. Provides about the same light as a 60W incandescent lamp which for my use is adequate. Time will tell if it lasts long enough to be worth the purchase price. Only complaint is the packaging. The standard thin box lamps typically come in did not have any additional protection for shipping & was crushed badly, if it wasn't for the lamp being plastic instead of glass it would not have survived.
