We have tested three of these PCB's with a voltage of 30 Vdc and a load of 10 ohms. Unfortunately, we are unable to test this PWM print under the specified full load of 90 W at 35 V power supply. But if we extrapolate the results of our test at 30 V and 75 W, we are convinced that this print will function well under full load. If we take the incident with one bursting thermal fuse as an accidental defect, due to a part with a manufacturing fault, we can decide that this extremely cheap power regulator does what it is supposed to do. If you have to regulate the power of DC voltages up to 30 V and 3 A, this PCB is recommended.

I use these with a 12V power supply, and there is very little loss, thereby allowing almost full voltage at the maximum setting. I use them with dew heaters to keep my telescope optics from fogging or frosting during observing sessions.

Controller is tested by concerting to 12 VDC PSU and loading with a small DC motor. Speed was controllable from zero to approx. 6000 RPM in apparently linear fashion, i.e. RPM was proportional to angle of the potentiometer shaft. Enough torque was developed over the whole RPM range, even at extremely slow speed.
