FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Arrived in a plastic bag. No shipping damage, despite minimal packaging. SETUP: Important! This throttle works on 5V! Do not connect to 24V, 36V, 48V, etc like the title suggests. They meant that the throttle works with controllers that operate at these voltages, not that the throttle directly takes them. The red and black wires are +5V and GND respectively. The white wire is the signal wire. OPERATION: If you're using this to replace a broken hall effect sensor, simply splice it in and go; it works like the majority of hall throttles. It has good spring-back when you let go, and utilizes a set-screw to clamp on any 7/8" handlebar. For those looking to use these in a project, the signal generated on the white wire is NOT 0-5V, but varies from 0.9V at idle to 4.13V at full throttle. You'll notice that there's a large zone in the middle of the throttle twist where the signal doesn't change much, then a bit at the beginning and end where it really ramps up.
