I've built a custom heater for my bee-hives. These elements provide a good deal of heat (I'm using two) where I hope it can keep my bees warm during the coldest of cold-snaps in northern Canadian winters. They're set up on a temperature sensor at 2 deg C. I tried a similar orange silicon heater first, which give off a very foul smell. These aluminum heaters have no smell.

I only performed a short test up to 130 degrees C and all was well. This will be the basis of a heating platform for water based solutions. It will be temperature controlled to about 120 degrees C.

I build a vaporizer for varroa mites (beehives). the temperature stocks on 180C. But that is just a good temperature.

The heater is getting hot very fast and heat up 2 liters of water just i pretend. Good quality and working perfectly to me.

I use this heater with the STC-1000 in combination for a homemade incubator. The heater is getting hot very fast, so its perfect for me!
