So far so good - I have bought 5 of these, the all work just fine BUT - the + / - labels on the back terminals are random. 2 of three installed are labeled backwards. Fortunately (and presumably) there is an internal diode that protects the internal circuit. When installed and the light does not illuminate - reverse the power to the device. Otherwise a 5 star

Pretty standard dashboard connections for a 12v system but confirmed that the usb was able to push out 2.1A well built and even came with the mounting screws and some terminal plugs! has a nice color glow when powered
