I watched multiple reviews online about how this is such a ripoff, and sucks because it's a Hakko....I don't believe that just because it's not overpriced that it doesn't suck. I've been using this for a couple of months now, and I can say that it is VERY capable, and I'm very very happy with it. When a Hakko costs close to 200 and this was under 50 delivered, but does the same job, just as well, why would I buy the "brand" name. It comes with three different bits. A "knife" blade, which I have used for plastic welding, a regular tip for through hole soldering, and a very fine tip which I find ideal for surface mount soldering. I don't know if the temperature reading is totally accurate, but I don't care. When I put the tip on a large thermal mass, the iron powers itself up quickly to compensate. I would highly recommend this soldering station. I purchased it to accompany my Ayoue hot air station, as it can't do both solder sucker and iron at the same time. Anyway, it's on constantly, and so far no problems.

Works good, regulator changes the temperature fluently. The holder could be better, bu for this money it is perfect! Thanks for the EU plug adapter!

Acceptable build quality. 3 extra tips.Heat up fast. detachable/ replaceable probe Clever switch mode powered soldering station, so be ready to live with the pros and cons. not so sure about the ESD / statics. There is a calibration facility, but the Chinese written manual is no help at all. Overall , a good buy for a occasional user like me , specially given the excellent promo price

Très bien construit malgré quelques petits défauts d'aspect.J'ai fait quelques petites modifications pour améliorer le confort d'utilisation. 1 : remplacement de la fenêtre rouge pour plus de lisibilité. 2 : remplacement de la prise par un modèle EU. 3 : enlèvement du support fer plastic et remplacement par un modèle spirale métal. Maintenant c'est parfait !
