This camera records at 720p/15fps on a microSD card. There is no way to automatically record 1080p, only manually pressing the record button live (after selecting high quality mode) will record this on your phone's internal storage at 1080p/15fps. I'm living in Switzerland an therefor i don't understand chinese. Although it's impossible to load the app from the swiss app store! I didn't find any explanation how to use the camera. I'm very disappointed and can't use this camera at all!!

It is a very capable baby monitor/security camera. But they need to release English software/firmware. To set up the camera, requires you to change you country to china otherwise it just wont connect, and then just press buttons until it works. There are a few youtube videos that help.

Another excellent hardaware from Xiaomi. On the other hand, it makes you wonder how hard it is to translate in English the menus of the app? I cannot have access to all the capabilities of the camera just because I don't speak Chinese. (Maybe this is a secret plan of Xiaomi to make us learn Chinese...)

Très bon produit , pour les français prenez directement Mainland china en location sinon ça ne fonctionnera pas , j'ai eu le tour , c'est en chinois mais si on appuie un peut partout on s'y retrouve :p Très bonne caméra sinon avec un court temps de réactivité , vision nocturne Très grand angle sans trop de distorsion

The camera came with a chinese manual and even after intensive searching on the net and in Xiaomi forums I could not get hold of an english manual. The camera speaks chinese and even the iphone app is 80% chinese. I am sending this back asap.
