I want to use the sensor to prevent a tank from over flowing. it should set an alarm. When you put is downwards (wires at the top) the switch is closed until the liquid level has risen over the maximum. So maximum is off. Received it slightly dent. I think it will work. Have not tested it in the tank yet.
